Picture the scenery. You’re standing behind someone as they’re about to park their car. You’re giving them clear instructions. Waving your hand backwards in a slow motion. Come on, come on, keep going.
That sort of thing is happening every single second somewhere across the globe. But this video in particular captures something very rare indeed.
Somehow, God knows how, as this bloke is giving a female driver parking instructions, she whacks her foot down on the reverse pedal and ploughs the car directly into the friendly helper.
Check out the ludicrous scene below:
From that point on, what does the woman do? The expected? Just drive slightly forward and allow the potentially injured man to get out? Rush to his help? Nah. She just sits there with him pinned between her car and the wall behind.
Eventually a group of people rush over to the man and, although it’s not clear, he appears to get out completely unscathed. What a bizarre experience for the young chap. If he was stood just slightly to the left or right there’s a very good chance he would’ve came out with some grizzly injuries.
Whoever the driver is I hope she’s had her driving reassessed since this clip went viral.
However as bad as things are in this vid, the antics are not quite as shame-worthy as these.
This is the moment a woman lost control of a brand new Ferrari, just seconds after getting behind the wheel of it for the first time.
The driver and passengers escaped with minor injuries, however the car was completely destroyed.
The Ferrari 458 cost nearly half a million pounds to buy and import into China, and was destroyed just moments after being driven away from the dealership. Yikes.
The red sports car crashed through a barrier into oncoming traffic, smashing into a BMW 4×4 in the process.
The video initially shows the interior of the car, with the driver saying:
First time driving a Ferrari. This truly is the most amazing feeling.
The video then cuts to footage of the accident – check out the moment below:
Traffic cameras on the busy city-centre road show the woman suddenly swerving out of control and slamming head-on into a metal traffic barrier and a BMW X3, which also collides with the unsuspecting driver of a black Nissan saloon car.
In spite of what appeared to be a low-speed crash, footage taken by witnesses in the aftermath of the accident shows the front end of the Ferrari 458 completely destroyed, with its airbags deployed.
Luckily, the driver and her female passengers were not seriously injured.
The vehicle is reported to have been purchased by the rental dealership for the astronomical import price of more than 4 million Renminbi, (£463,000), while the cost to mend the damaged Italian sports car has been estimated at half that amount.
Social media users have suggested the driver may have turned off the car’s traction control before the crash, which would explain how the vehicle suddenly spun out of control.
