Fan that Adele defended from security at Las Vegas concert speaks out on what really happened

In a now-viral clip, Adele ended up calling out security personnel who had been ‘bothering’ Juan Pablo throughout the show.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock all weekend, you’ll have probably heard about Adele defending a young fan during a recent concert.

Taking to the stage in Las Vegas for her ongoing residency, the British singer ended up calling out security personnel who had been ‘bothering’ excited fan Juan Pablo throughout the show.

Now, he’s spoken about the incident which began when he stood up and sang along with the Grammy-award winner. Seriously, you’ll want to be all ears for this one! Take a look:

If you’ve not seen a clip of the now-infamous moment, it’s worth taking a beat and watching the above clip.

As you can see, Pablo is standing up throughout the concert at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, where Adele has been performing as part of her Las Vegas residency.

Filmed over the weekend, the young fan is rather, um, enthusiastically singing along and using a selfie stick and a Go-Pro to document the entire set – much to the annoyance of other attendees and security.

Whilst the footage has sparked considerable debate about etiquette at gigs, Pablo has said he isn’t sorry about the incident.

In an interview with TMZ, he initially apologised before quickly backtracking and arguing that it was his only opportunity to see the ‘Hello’ singer live.

Pablo gave his version of the story.

“I’m sorry, I really am sorry but I only had one opportunity to see her and I took it. And I took it as I wanted,” he explained to the tabloid.

“I sang every song with her and I stood up most of the song with her… I’m not really sorry…"

When asked about whether he felt bad for other attendees, he added: “I have a guilty feeling, I felt that they were a little bit mad… but they could have stood up too…. In every other section, there were people standing up.”

The young fan then thanked Adele and said that he still could not ‘believe’ that the Grammy award winner supported him.

Having seen his Go-Pro footage though, some people are now questioning whether the British musician did the right thing.

In fact, she was so supportive that she actually stopped mid-performance to help Pablo.

Adele told the fan: "They won’t bother you again my darling, enjoy the show."

At the time, the musician had been about to perform her heartbreaking ballad 'Water Under The Bridge’ when she spotted the situation on Saturday night (August 26).

The 35-year-old looks visibly annoyed as she looks across the audience and ask what’s going on.

“Can you stop a minute…. what is going on with that young fan over there,” Adele yells, taking the mic with her as she points in Pablo’s direction.

She then adds: “He’s been bothered so much since I came on for standing up…what’s going on with him?”

Having swiftly dealt with the security, she then tells him: “They won’t bother you again, my darling…you enjoy the show.”

Unsurprisingly, the clip soon went viral after it was uploaded to TikTok with concertgoers debating whether Adele did the right thing.

What do you think... was Pablo in the wrong?
