Fan recorded entire incident that caused Adele to stop concert and call out security guard

The singer stopped her set to check in with the fan

Fans don’t just love Adele for her soul-crushing heartbreak anthems, they love her for the way she treats the whole audience like they’re her mates.

So much so, the Grammy award-winning mega-star stopped one of her recent Las Vegas residency performances mid-song to help a fan in the audience who was being bothered by security.

As she started singing her well-known ballad ‘Water Under the Bridge’, the 35-year-old music sensation looked into the crowd and started making gestures.

She said to her band and the audience: “Can you stop a minute…what is going on with that fan over there?

“He’s been bothered so much since I came on for standing up…what's going on with him? He’s here to have fun, all of you are here to have fun.

“They won’t bother you again my darling, enjoy the show.”

And the best part? The wholesome interaction was captured entirely by the man himself on what appeared to be a 360 degree camera.

The fan was singing his heart out and enjoying the concert when security told him to sit down.

When the fan, who goes by @juanp_lastra on TikTok, realised that the British singer had stopped the whole show to stick up for him against a member of security he, as I think the entire population would, freaked out.

He screamed whilst capturing the whole thing on video: “Thank you!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!”

It is just another example of why fans love the ‘Hello’ singer so much, and how fiercely protective she is of her loyal supporters.

The drama began when other people sitting behind the young fan were complaining that they couldn’t see the stage - which can be seen as a reasonable point.

But this situation has sparked a debate about whether it is concert-etiquette to be just this hyped at a show, or whether fans should reign it in and let everyone enjoy the show calmly.

In the comments of the video posted to TikTok, fans have been sharing their opinions and praising Adele for sticking up for the young man.

One said: “It’s always great to see when a person of power protects the vulnerable.”

And another added: “The security guard must have felt quite embarrassed at that moment.”

Adele has had her residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas for seven months, and is set to keep going with her show, Weekends with Adele, until November.

So what do you think? Should uncontrollable screaming and singing at a concert be frowned upon?

Or is it the exact environment to scream and sing, and enjoy the event freely?
