Jack Harlow gets absolutely rinsed for his NFL Thanksgiving halftime show

Viewers called it 'one of the worst things' they had ever seen.

Jack Harlow was invited to perform at the NFL Thanksgiving halftime show and it did not go well.

The 25-year-old appeared on stage at Ford Field while the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers had a rest.

He emerged from a makeshift igloo and sang 'What's Poppin' while a hype man behind him gave one hell of a weird performance.

He made his way from the igloo onto the field to sing 'Industry Baby', 'First Class' and 'Lovin On Me'.

The four-song performance was a big chance at exposure for the young rapper, however it did not go down well with people watching at home.

One person even called it 'one of the worst things I’ve ever seen'.

Another added: "The set looks like something from a middle school play."

A third wrote: "This is garbage. Maybe worse than Kaepernick kneeling."

People couldn't work out who the hype man was and why he left the stage less than a minute after Harlow started performing.

Many also said it was a rogue decision to get an up and coming rapper to perform when some NFL fans might not know who he is.

By comparison, Dolly Parton was one of the other NFL Thanksgiving halftime show performers this year and she dazzled fans at Dallas' AT&T Stadium as the Cowboys played the Washington Commanders.

Harlow has posted about the honor of performing at the venue.

"On some real s**t the main thing that pushed me to say yes to this Thanksgiving halftime show aside from the opportunity itself is how much family I have in Detroit and all the times I spent growing up visiting the city," he said on Instagram.

"I kid you not my great-great grandfather had a heart attack and passed away in the stands at the Lions Thanksgiving game in the 1960s and I'm not even bullshittin so u know I had to bring it home for bro."

It seems like the Ford Field is cursed for halftime performances as last year's was similarly mocked.

Bebe Rexha was picked to sing to all the fans last year and Sporting News says her stage was tucked away in one corner of the stadium, meaning loads of people couldn't see her perform.

Entertainment Weekly says it was so bad that fans started booing, which would be an awful thing to experience.
