Lindsay Lohan's father has been left furious over a reference to a controversial nickname for the actress in the new Mean Girls film.
The rendition of Tina Fey's popular Broadway show dropped in US cinemas earlier this week and follows Cady as she moves from Africa to Illinois, which sees her makes friends with a group of 'mean girls', ultimately becoming one herself.
Lohan did not reprise her original role of Cady Heron in the adaptation, but she does appear as a moderator at a math tournament - which is very fitting considering the original Cady was also a math whizz.
Despite Lohan's revival in the new film, however, a cruel joke was seemingly made at her expense - referencing a controversial 2006 paparazzi video involving oil heir Brandon Davis and Paris Hilton.

Rapper Megan Thee Stallion makes a comment about Cady's Christmas-themed talent show outfit, saying: "Y2K fire crotch is back."
The joke referenced a controversial video from 2006, in which Brandon Davis made remarks about Lohan which left the actor very hurt.
Davis told the paparazzi: "I think she's worth about $7 million, which means she's really poor. It's disgusting."
He then went on to call her 'fire crotch', an offensive term used to describe people with ginger hair, in particular women.
Davis later publicly apologised for the remarks, saying: "What started out as a joke got completely carried away. I am horrified at the words that came out of my mouth."

Lohan told the Independent she was 'hurt and disappointed' that the joke made it into the film, and it seems she's not alone in her feelings.
Her father Michael Lohan has also slammed the new movie over the inclusion of the joke.
He said that he was 'p*ssed' that the joke had been included in the film, slamming the remark as 'disgusting'.
He went on to tell TMZ: "I will say this however. NOBODY can replace Lindsay or the original cast in that film."
This comes after writer and actress Tina Fey revealed that she had hoped to get Lohan back on board for the new film.

She told Entertainment Weekly: "I felt like if I could only get one person as a surprise, the original movie is really Lindsay's movie."
She added: "And just to have her do that late in the movie, it also feels like it comes, I hope, at a time where fans weren't expecting one more little surprise."
Fey also reprised her role in the new movie, with the main cast being switched up.
The new movie was adapted from a stage musical of the 2004 cult classic, and become the latest nostalgia-fuelled project to draw fans back out.
