It left his arm temporarily paralyzed, but somehow has managed to find positive outcomes from the horrific accident.

Despite his injury, he still found a way to DJ after undergoing physiotherapy.

On the podcast, he said: “This guy was going to fight one of my friends, and he brought a gun …he pulls it out and shows me.

“And it went off, and it shot me, grazed my neck.

“It went in from an angle and I flinched.

“I couldn’t feel my arm.

“My arm went dead.

“It hit the nerve, just boom, just dead, you know?

“Thinking back now it’s just like wow, you know, it was just like boom, it was just like that.

“The bullet's still in me.”

Timbaland continued about his injury: “I’m just like, it’s a part of me, you know?

“So I can never disconnect.

“Having that bullet in me…keeps reminding me why I’m blessed to be here, and what’s my purpose, that I have to serve going forward.

“Some scars are meant to be there, just for a reminder.

“People try to remove that baggage, sometimes baggage is meant to be there to help you go forward.

“I still made a way to figure out things, you know?

“That’s the thing when you have a lot of drive; you want to try to figure out a way to face the problem.”

The artist has faced a lot of backlash recently, after claiming that Justin Timberlake, one of his most frequent collaborators, should have put a ‘muzzle’ on ‘crazy’ Britney Spears, after her memoir included stories of the singer.

He later apologised for his comments.

On a TikTok live video, he said: “I'm sorry to all the Britney fans, even to her.

“You have a voice.

“You speak what you want to speak.

“Who am I to tell you what not to speak?

“I was wrong for saying that.”

In her book, ‘The Woman in Me’, she claimed that Timberlake cheated on her throughout their relationship in the late 90s, and asked her to have an abortion.

She revealed that if the decision would have just been left up to her, she wouldn’t have gone through with it.
