Chloe Cherry says her naked scene in Euphoria was cut after co-star told director 'that's a lot'

Chloe Cherry joined the cast in season two, and says her first day was intense

One of the stars of Euphoria says a nude scenes of hers had to be cut after a co-star told the director they felt it 'was a lot'.

Chloe Cherry (Faye) is no stranger to being naked on camera, but the ex-porn star admitted that her first day on set of the hit series was a little daunting.

Coming into the show on season two, the 25-year-old and co-star Tyler Chase, who played Custer, are thrown together for the first time.

In the scene from episode two, Custer stuffs a blood-soaked Faye into a vent following a murder.

And according to Cherry, there wasn't much time for them to get acquainted before the camera started rolling.

Speaking to the Daily Beast last year, she said: "We just met and said, ‘Hey, how are you?’ and then shot the scene.

"It probably would’ve been more comfortable had we had a little more time to know each other.

"Sam wanted to do the scene with me completely naked and Tyler was like, ‘That’s a lot', so they decided not to. But I was covered in fake blood and just felt so good being on set."

This comes as one of Cherry's other co-stars revealed recently why she chose to quit the show.

Barbie Ferreira, who played Kat Hernandez, dropped the news last year that she would not be returning for a third season.

Unsurprisingly, the news sparked rumours among fans, who were shocked to see her go.

There were reports that she was in the midst of a feud with Euphoria creator Sam Levinson, during the show's second season, over Kat's direction and story arc.

Others claimed Ferreira had walked off set after she and Levinson had come to verbal blows while shooting.

And in the wide-ranging discussion about all things Kat Hernandez, the 26-year-old actor chatted on Dax Shepard's podcast Armchair Expert about her character's departure in season two.

She revealed her exit was a 'mutual decision' with the show's creators because her character's storyline had run out of momentum.

"I don’t think there was a place for [Kat] to go. I think there were places she could have gone. I just don’t think it would have fit into the show," Ferreira said.

"I don’t know if it was going to do her justice, and I think both parties knew that. I really wanted to be able to not be the fat best friend. I don’t want to play that, and I think they didn’t want that either."

She went on to add that season two felt like a struggle to continue on as her character, for both her and the writers.

"I feel like with season two and certain parts of it, I felt it was a kind of a struggle for both parties,” she said.

"Sam writes for, like, things that he relates to. I don’t think he relates to Kat."
