Mr Harry Potter himself Daniel Radcliffe has responded to the possibility of him appearing in the upcoming TV series reboot of the iconic movie franchise.
Earlier this year, it was announced Harry Potter would be returning with a brand new TV series coming to HBO.

In a statement from the recently rebranded Max, the live-action series will become a 'decade-long series produced with the same epic craft, love and care this global franchise is known for'.
The statement continued: "The series will feature a new cast to lead a new generation of fandom, full of the fantastic detail, much-loved characters and dramatic locations that Harry Potter fans have loved for over 25 years.
"Each season will be authentic to the original books and bring Harry Potter and these incredible adventures to new audiences around the world, while the original, classic and beloved films will remain at the core of the franchise and available to watch globally."
JK Rowling has been confirmed to be an executive producer on the show, alongside the likes of Neil Blair and Ruth Kenley-Letts.

"We are delighted to give audiences the opportunity to discover Hogwarts in a whole new way,” Casey Bloys, the chairman and CEO of HBO and Max Conten said at the time of the announcement, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"In partnership with Warner Bros Television and JK Rowling, this new Max Original series will dive deep into each of the iconic books that fans have continued to enjoy for all of these years."
But while the original author is involved in the reboot, many Harry Potter fans have asked if Radcliffe will be involved.
While new actors have already been confirmed to be taking over the iconic roles, many had hoped Radcliffe would somehow feature in a cameo role.

However, the actor believes it is pretty unlikely he will be offered a chance to return, as he thinks the series' makers want to make the new show set itself apart from the original films.
Speaking to ComicBook.com, Radcliffe said: "My understanding is that they're trying to very much start fresh and I'm sure whoever is making them will want to make their own mark on it and probably not want to have to figure out how to get old Harry to cameo in this somewhere.
"So I'm definitely not seeking it out in any way. But I do wish them, obviously, all the luck in the world and I'm very excited to have that torch passed. But I don't think it needs me to physically pass it."

So there you have it, a Radcliffe return to Harry Potter seems unlikely.
