Despite the Harry Potter films being released over two decades ago, fans are only just discovering how many similarities they have to another film franchise.
After re-watching the boy wizard and the Narnia movies, fans are now convinced the two worlds are connected.
Even JK Rowling has fessed up to some similarities between the two.
The theory first appeared on TikTok, with user @its_ivanmars – who is better known on the app as the movie detective - sharing a clip from one of the early Harry Potter films, which shows Professor McGonagall explaining how Hogwarts was founded thousands of years ago, with the four founders giving their names to the four houses.

It's then that Ivan explains his epic theory, as he matches up Narnia’s Pevensie siblings with the four founders, sharing a still of the four siblings from the films.
They've cheekily Photoshopped the image so each sibling is wearing the colours of the Hogwarts house which matches their personality.
Lucy is said Helga Hufflepuff thanks to her loyal nature and friendly disposition, while her elder sister Susan is Rowena Ravenclaw - shown in blue to represent the often overlooked house.
Meanwhile, the boys represent the two arch-rivals Gryffindor and Slytherin - with elder sibling Peter being associated with Gryffindor, renowned for courage and recklessness.

Lastly, Edmund is listed as Slytherin for his cunning and ambition - which understandably given that he betrays his siblings in the first Narnia movie when he befriends Queen Jadis the White Witch.
So far the video has received over 3.3 million likes on the app, so it’s unsurprising that it's caught the attention of both fandoms, with many saying that their mind was ‘blown’ by the theory.
“Yoooo that's crazy and all have the same colors and look of the houses,” wrote one excited user in the comments, with another adding: “mind-blowing”.
While the theory continues to do the round on the platform, some are already pointing out one major flaw.
Many commenters were quick to point out that author JK Rowling had loved Narnia as a kid with the works influencing her writing.

“They might just be J.K. Rowling’s inspiration for her books, coz Narnia was written decades before HP, right," pointed out one fan in the comments.
The author even confirmed this during an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, not long after her debut novel was released back in late 2001.
“I found myself thinking about the wardrobe route to Narnia when Harry is told he has to hurl himself at a barrier in King's Cross Station – it dissolves and he's on platform Nine and Three-Quarters, and there's the train for Hogwarts,” the 57-year-old told the publication.
“Narnia is literally a different world, whereas in the Harry books you go into a world within a world that you can see if you happen to belong.”

Could the characteristics of the Pevensie siblings have - perhaps subconsciously - ended up influencing Rowling when she came up with the characteristics of the four Hogwarts founders? Guess we'll probably never know.
