Jeffrey Dahmer bragged about keeping a mummified head, new phone recordings reveal

Phone calls between the serial killer and his dad have been released in a new documentary

Serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer talked about keeping body parts of his victims in never-before-released phone calls between him and his dad.

Dahmer killed 17 men and boys in Wisconsin and Ohio between 1978 and 1991.

His gruesome murder spree saw Dahmer drug and sexually assault his victims before killing them and cannibalizing parts of their bodies.

He was convicted in 1992 and sent to the Columbia Correctional Institution, where he remained until he was killed by another inmate in 1994.

In a new documentary, titled My Son Jeffrey: The Dahmer Family Tapes, set to air this week on Fox Nation, previously unheard tapes, featuring conversations with his dad Lionel, have been shared.

In one recording, Dahmer tells his dad about an incident in which they almost ‘came to blows’ at his grandmother’s house.

He said: “One thing I wanted to share with you. Remember when you visited grandma? Remember that small, one-by-one square foot box?

“It was wooden, but it had a metal covering, and you were very insistent that I opened that up because you thought I had pornography magazines.”

His father responded: “Yes that's right I did. I never thought anything more than that.”

Dahmer continued: “I was arguing with you because I didn't want to open it up. We almost came to blows, so I went out the door and I came in again two minutes later.

“I apologized and everything and you were on your way down to the basement to break the locks to open the case.”

He later revealed: “You know what was in it, don't you? The mummified head and genitals of the last victim at the West Allis location.”

Dahmer killed Jamie Doxtator, Richard Guerrero, and Anthony Sears at the West Allis location - however, it’s unclear who the remains belonged to.

In another recording, Lionel - who is in his 70s now - admits that he also had ‘weird thoughts’ when he was younger.

“What was the very first fantasy, I was wondering that you could remember having which you thought to yourself was kind of odd or disturbing?” he asked.

He then added: “I had weird thoughts too, in my childhood. You’re just like me, Jeff.”

Fox Nation President Jason Klarman said: “The Jeffrey Dahmer case has captivated the public for over three decades and now with these exclusive tapes released for the very first time, viewers will hear from Dahmer in his own words and get insight into his relationship with his father.”
