Netflix has just added another behemoth to its massive catalogue of disturbing documentaries and this time, viewers are hailing it the 'worst cult documentary' they've ever seen.
The new three-part doc, Escaping Twin Flames, provides a deep dive into a company named Twin Flames Universe that claims to help people find their soulmate.
However, the organisation has been accused of being a cult by former members. Check it out:

Now, we have all needed a helping hand when it comes to the love life now and again, but the objectives of the company may not be as genuine and heartfelt, according to the documentary.
As of November 13, the show is currently rated Netflix’s top rated TV show in the United States, and for good reason.
The show’s synopsis reads: “Twin Flames Universe is a currently active online spiritual community offering the promise of true love and companionship to its members. The leaders sell online classes that guarantee harmonious union with desired partners.

“Escaping Twin Flames reveals the nightmarish stories of manipulation and coercion within the organization, including exclusive access to former members who recount how they were encouraged to stalk the supposed objects of their affection and manipulate their gender identities.
“The series also documents the efforts of family members to rescue their loved ones from Twin Flames.”
The company's leaders Jeff and Shaleia Divine - who claim to have spiritual powers to confirm their members’ twin flames - do not particularly come off well in the documentary and social media users have taken to X to express their shock at some of the revelations and behavior that allegedly took place.

“Escaping twin flames on Netflix is wild. A lady on there said her twin flame was married and had a baby on the way the relationship coaches basically told her “oh just ignore that and go get your man",” one user wrote.
“It’s terrifying how easy it is to brainwash some people. Escaping Twin Flames is bonkers. #Netflix #escapingtwinflames,” another X user commented.
“Escaping twin flames on Netflix is actually insane. Jeff is literally insane i can not.” another added.
“They had those people brainwashed and delusional real bad. They were kind of turning them into creeps,” said another.
