One of this year’s best movies is now streaming on Netflix

Spider-Man fans can rejoice as one of the best web-swinging films to date has now touched down on Netflix.

The streaming giant announced today (October 31) that the flick is now on NetflIx US.

Unfortunately, for many outside the US, the film may not yet be available for you.

But if you are part of the lucky few, you can relive the visual magic of Miles Morales’ second big-screen adventure.

Beyond the clear benefits of being able to watch Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse in the comfort of your own home, watching the film a second time allows eagle-eyed fans to spot the many easter eggs.

For those hoping to watch the film for the first time you can expect a wild ride with brilliant visuals and a killer soundtrack throughout.

“After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn's full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence,” the film's synopsis says.

“However, when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders. He must soon redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.”

Without spoiling too much of the film, by the end of the film even the most casual fans couldn’t help but jump into the raging debate on whether Miles’ actions were correct.

And it's likely social media will see a fresh wave of arguments after new viewers join the fold.

The film also boasts an impressive 96 percent on Rotten Tomatoes' tomatometer as well as a 94 percent audience score. Meanwhile, on IMDb the flick received a rating of 8.7 out of 10 after more than 283,000 reviews.

Its clear the film proved to be one of the most popular of 2023, raking in an estimated $690 million at the box office.

But, for fans hoping for an ever-expanding franchise, here comes the bad news.

Earlier this year Phil Lord and Chris Miller confirmed to UNILAD that Across The Spider-Verse was the second film in a trilogy.

"This film is the middle of a trilogy and the final film is the third film," said Chris.

Phil then joked: "I would say that we have a plan more than we’ve ever had."

"That is true," Chris confessed.

"We normally are kind of winging it along the way, giving ourselves problem, painting ourselves in a corner, trying to find our way out. But this time, we actually know where going."
