Movie fans will be pleased to know that they don't need to wait until October for some of this year's most highly anticipated horrors.
The first horror movie release of 2024 was Night Swim; a film about a family who move into a new home that has a 'dark secret' that ultimately unleashes a malevolent force in the backyard pool.
The likes of Lisa Frankenstein and Imaginary (which hits cinemas today, March 8) have since been released as well - but it's the brain child of the producers behind Paranormal Activity and Barbarian that people are counting down the days to see.
Titled Late Night with the Devil, the critically acclaimed horror sees a live TV broadcast go very wrong following an exorcism of a young girl that leads to the devil gaining access to viewers' homes.

The movie stars David Dastmalchian as host Jack Delroy, and it's safe to say fans are excited.
Ahead of its cinematic release on March 22, some of the reviews for Late Night with the Devil are starting to trickle in - and it's already earned one of the highest accolades you can get.
The R-rated movie is now part of Rotten Tomatoes' 100 percent club, joining the likes of Man on Wire, Toy Story 2, Leave No Trace as well as Dastmalchian's 2019 drama, Teacher.

One Rotten Tomatoes critic has said of the movie: "The electrifying, playful Late Night With the Devil has all the ingredients to be one of the year’s most successful indie horror popcorn movies, giving the Cairnes brothers the place in the international spotlight that they have so long deserved."
"The resulting mix of vintage Me Decade showbiz cheese and “Exorcist”-y demonic doings is distinctive, not to mention deftly handled by the brothers as both writers and directors," added Variety writer, Dennis Harvey.
"Devilishly good fun," said another, while different reviewers praised Dastmalchian for 'holding the film together'.

Meanwhile, those who haven't been lucky enough to preview Late Night with the Devil have voiced their love for the new trailer.
One person penned: "Now that I have a clear idea of what this movie is about, I am definitely not missing this classic gem!"
A second went on: "This looks good. And original. Makes it even better."
"Finally! A possession movie that actually looks good for once," a different film fan went on.
