Rick and Morty is back for a seventh season!
A new season of the hilarious sci-fi show will begin next month, with fans reacting to the long awaited trailer.
A synopsis for the new series says: "Rick and Morty are back and sounding more like themselves than ever! It’s season seven, and the possibilities are endless: what’s up with Jerry? EVIL Summer?! And will they ever go back to the high school?! Maybe not! But let’s find out! There’s probably less p*ss than last season. Rick and Morty, 100 years! Or at least until season 10!"

However, the series will be featuring new voices for its titular characters. See if you can hear the difference in the trailer below:
Though fans might not be pick up on any audible difference, there have been major changes behind the scenes of the long running comedy.
Having created and voiced the titular duo, actor Justin Roiland left the series following allegations of misconduct.

Following an alleged incident in 2020, the showrunner was charged with domestic violence offences.
He would later plead not guilty to one count of domestic battery with corporal injury and one count of false imprisonment by menace, violence, fraud and/or deceit.
Adult Swim, the network behind the Emmy-award winning show, ended its relationship with the creator shortly after this.

Oddly though, his replacements, whom play the scientist and awkward teenage respectively, have yet to be named.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, an insider said this was on purpose and claimed that execs wanted the series to 'speak for itself' - pun intended.
With so much mystery still surrounding Rick and Morty's seventh season, fans have been reacting to the new trailer.
Discussing the replacement voice actors in the comments, it seems most fans have been pleasantly surprised by the change.

Reacting to the trailer on YouTube, one fan wrote: "wow, I really had low expectations on the new voices, but those are great, Ricks is good and Mortys is basically 100% accurate, love it."
Another added: "Morty's voice actor is near 100% accurate. Rick is like around 60% to 70%. I feel the deeper into the season we get the more that number will go up."
"I can very easily see these new voices grow into the roles over time, especially when seasons 8 on will actually allow more freedom since they will no longer have to worry about matching the existing Roiland track," a third user commented.
Fans will certainly have time to get used to the new actors, as the seventh season of the sci-fi comedy will run for ten episodes.
