A man has warned of the dangers of 'crazy concentrated' squid ink... while rubbing it all over his arms. And now he's living with the consequences.
Squid might be fun to look at and delicious to eat, but the ink sacs are a whole different level.
Don’t even think about touching it with your bare skin.

Well, in true internet fashion, someone already did that, and the results were… as expected.
Considering squid ink was used back in the day for quill writing, you can probably guess how this went for one dude who decided to test out what covering both of his arms in a full ink sac would do to his skin.
The staining power of squid ink was fully demonstrated for this man, but I bet Brendan Wing didn’t expect himself to continue to be the same colour five days later.

Posting his misadventure to TikTok under the username @youfishtv, you can see Wing remove the ink sac from the squid before covering his arms in it, repeating how the ink is ‘crazy’ concentrated.
But in an update, everyone would find out how his curiosity panned out.
Five days later the man’s arms were pitch black, with no sign of toning down at all.
One commenter said under his original video: “Intrusive thoughts won.”

Another chimed: “Why did he start bathing in it?”
Someone else wrote: “’That's crazy that's crazy don't do it’ *proceeds to do it anyway*.”
For someone who kept telling people not to do it because even though the sac is tiny and ‘doesn’t look like much, this s**t is crazy concentrated’.
It certainly looks that way, but how will be get it off?
He went on to explain how the ink was starting to show signs of wear in between his fingers which were back to his original color, but it would take up to two weeks to see it disappear from everywhere.

Calling himself a ‘crackpot’ for covering himself, he warned others not to mess with squid ink and to use himself as a cautionary tale.
Of course, commenters loved to see the update and were both baffled and intrigued by his stint.
One person quipped: “This would be great for my brows, does it come in a dark brown?”
Another theorised: “I feel like squid ink has some insane health benefit we don’t know of yet.”

Someone else joked: “Bro said don’t muck around with squid ink that clearly doesn’t apply to him.”
A user gave him a tip: “It will wear off eventually as he sheds skin cells. Take about a month. He won’t do that again.”
Well, maybe he’s learned his lesson not to mess with the squid.
