A woman who has been missing for seven years was found after her 'blood curdling screams' led police to the motel she was at.
Michigan State Police have confirmed that the woman, who is believed to be a sex trafficking victim, was found earlier this week in the Evergreen motel in Michigan.
The woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, managed to make contact with loved ones after going missing back in 2017.

She managed to make contact with her step-mother and tell her she was being held against her will.
Police confirmed that 'blood curdling screams' led to her rescue, with troopers later confirming she was locked in the Evergreen Motel.
The hotel is located in the area of Inkster, situated approximately 32 kilometres from the bustling metropolis of Detroit and 135 kilometres from the state capital, Lansing, serves as a suburban area of Detroit, boasting a population of around 25,700 residents.

"They described it as like a crying, kind of screaming type of noise that lured them to that specific area," Michigan State Police Lt. Mike Shaw told Michigan-based local news outlet WXYZ.
After Police broke down the door to gain entry, they found the woman alone with guns, a cell phone and firearms within the room.
The woman, who appeared to be physically unharmed, was taken to the Beaumont Dearborn hospital, and has now been returned to her family to undergoing specialist counselling therapies.
She is also now believed to be helping police further with the details of the investigation, and speaking with detectives who specialise in active human trafficking and missing persons cases.

"We'll kind of look at what's next, right...interview her if a crime did take place such as human trafficking or if it is a domestic violence situation or is it different. I don't want to use the word kidnapping like somebody grabbed her and took her to that place. It may have started as a relationship that turns into being held against your will and being trafficked," Michigan State Police Lt. Mike Shaw further added, according to WXYZ.
The identity of the woman, who is now believed to be in her mid-thirties, is currently being kept confidential due to the nature of the potential crime.
A suspect in the case has been identified, but no one has been taken into custody.
