Johnny Depp's sister has revealed the nicknames their mother would call them as children.
The update comes as Heard and Depp attended court today, 11 April over a defamation lawsuit.
Depp is suing his ex-wife Heard over an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018.

In response to the case, Heard has filed a counterclaim for defamation, with a judge ruling that Heard could use a defence in which her lawyers will argue that she is deserving of immunity over what she had written in the 2018 article.
Now, Depp's sister, Christi Dembrowski, has shared the nicknames their mother used when they were children.
The Independent reports that Dembrowski said: “She called us names, we each had our own set of special names. Mine was Violet, that is my father’s mother and my mom hated my father’s mother.
"She had a few for Johnny, her favourite was ‘one eye’ and she called him that as when he was young the doctors thought he had a lazy eye and would put a patch on his good eye to strengthen the other one.

"He did not respond in any negative way. They were a way of life, we got used to them. We accepted all of it.”
Dembrowski was the first witness called by Depp's side in the ongoing case, with Heard's lawyers appearing next.
The Daily Mail reports that Heard's attorney, Elaine Charlson Bredehoft, stated to the jury: "This is the story of a very different Johnny Depp has an enormous amount of rage.
"There will be testimony from therapists where he admits he has rage, he's like a demon and he views his wife Amber like his mother and his sister that he hates. It will be fuelled by the alcohol and the drugs."

Heard's attorney went on to allege: "It's during these rages Mr. Depp engaged in verbal, physical, sexual abuse of Amber.
"Amber made the mistake millions before her have. She chose to stay and try to fix the problem, so she stayed. She thought she could fix him, if she could get him sober and clean."
Heard implied in her 2018 article for The Washington Post that she had been physically and sexually abused during her marriage.

Shortly before the trial, Heard took to Instagram to share her side of things.
"I'm going to go offline for the next several weeks," as she reminded fans that she'll be attending the trial in Virginia.
"Johnny is suing me for an op-ed I wrote in the Washington Post, in which I recounted my experience of violence, and domestic abuse.
"I never named him, rather I wrote about the price women pay for speaking out against men in power. I continue to pay that price, but hopefully when this case concludes, I can move on and so can Johnny."

"I have always maintained a love for Johnny and it brings me great pain to have to live out the details of our past life together in front of the world."
The actor went on to thank fans for the ongoing support she received throughout the years.
Depp and Heard's trial in Virginia is ongoing.
