Logan Paul confirms viral rumour that he has footage of the most compelling UFO sighting ever

Apparently the tape is one of the most convincing pieces of evidence we have to prove we're not alone in the universe.

Logan Paul has finally addressed question burning on everyone's lips: Does he, or does he not, have a copy of the most compelling UFO sighting ever recorded?

Speaking on his podcast Impaulsive on May 9, the 28-year-old YouTuber-turned-wrestler spilled the beans about the rumour that he has a copy of some rather compelling video footage that proves we're not alone in the universe.

Paul's comments came in the wake of an interview between Joe Rogan and UFO documentary filmmaker James Fox spilled the beans.

Fox, who appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience, told the controversial host opposite him that Paul had a copy of the bombshell video.

And the answer is... Yes. He does have a copy.

The YouTuber revealed the UFO enthusiast had told the truth, confirming Fox’s claim that he had tried to buy the footage for $USD100,000 (AUD$148,000, £79,200) but was ultimately unsuccessful.

However, Paul had a nifty little trick up his sleeve.

He was allowed to see the video, and while watching he used a hidden camera to record the TV screen.

"What do you want from me bro, I’m a sneaky little f**k," Paul said.

"I offered him $100,000 for this tape after I had seen it. Let me tell you this, he should have f**king taken the money because I got the footage anyway.

"And I’ll tell you why I did it, because it’s a little twisted of me to put on a small button camera and film UFO footage that isn’t mine."

Paul shared his reasoning for stealing the footage that 'everyone’s been waiting for'.

"Here’s the thing though, it’s not his either. It’s not. The people who shot it gave it to him and expected he would keep it hidden for himself. It’s not his footage," Paul said.

"He is keeping what I thought at the time, important UFO, alien, extraterrestrial proof in his possession and not showing it.

"Like why? I think that is doing a disservice to the world. That’s not going to do it for me, you are being selfish."

Even though he dubbed the man in possession of the original footage, a chap who lives in Nevada named Chuck Clark, as selfish, Paul admitted he was wary of releasing the video to the public.

Paul wants to find out more before he shares it with the rest of us.

He'd going to do that by showing it to Bob Lazar, a self-proclaimed physicist who claims he was hired in the late 1980s to reverse-engineer alien technology.

"I’m waiting for the right moment — I’m not afraid to release it, I’m just waiting for the right moment," Paul said.

"I would show the footage to Bob Lazar to ask him if he’s seen anything like it and in that case maybe … if he can verify the legitimacy of this tape then maybe I would release it."

He then went on to describe part of what the tape contains.

"You don’t see the aliens … the footage is compelling, not convincing. It’s from 1995, the tape had been worn down, it’s been played probably over 100 times so the quality is not great, and everything about it screams bulls**t," he said.

"Which is the true reason I haven’t released it. It doesn’t have enough meat on the bone and proof for me to put it out confidently and be like, this is legit UFO footage."

Paul then added there was one interesting and rather odd thing about the footage that stood out to him as possible proof of validity.

"When you scrub through the footage forward and back kind of fast … the disc hovers so fluidly, it’s like buoyant almost in the air," Paul revealed.

"And I’m not sure if that type of movement … was possible in 1995 VFX editing. It looks too good.

"It’s the one compelling thing about this video where I’m like, maybe that’s something."
