The Super Bowl saw all manner of celebrities in attendance, but how did they all leave the city of sin afterwards? You would be mistaken if you thought they carpooled.
With Taylor Swift getting plenty of flak currently for using a private jet, it seems she's far from alone when you look at the sheer volume of private jets leaving the Super Bowl on Sunday (February 11).

This year’s Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers certainly attracted plenty of A-listers.

Everyone from Paul McCartney and Paul Rudd to Beyoncé and Swift were there, along with Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Khloé Kardashian.
Basically, living it up at one of the greatest sporting events of the year, makes sense.
But with the celebrity lifestyle, they often travel in style, and that means private jets.
And despite many of us trying to address the negative impacts we have on the environment, not everyone seems to be playing ball.

So for many, it was shocking to hear just how many jets department from Las Vegas after the football concluded.
525 private jets departed the city, according to a flight tracker shared on social media.
The brief clip has gone viral with over 57 million views, and shows just a stream of planes leaving the city in every direction for hours after the event.

Social media users were frustrated with this revelation, as some celebrities have repeatedly called for the wider public to watch their own carbon footprint.
One annoyed user wrote: “Remember, the problem is you and your car and your diet.
“Not the people that have private jets that emit more in a year than you do in a lifetime or private yachts with diesel power plants that could run a small town."
Another added: “Wow that's crazy, all those celebs telling us to watch our carbon footprints."
“The same people screeching about climate change are also responsible for this but it’s okay when they make billions of dollars,” a third commented.

“Saving the planet, one private jet at a time,” one user joked.
“But somehow all that carbon emission and pollution doesn’t count right? It can’t possibly be real when it doesn’t involve the little guy,” another added.
While it is not clear which celebrities flew out the city in private jets, it has certainly left a bad taste in the mouth of fans who are keeping an eye on their carbon footprint.
