Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of Twitter, has been left unimpressed after Mark Zuckerberg requested to follow him on Threads.
Unless you've been living under a rock the past couple of weeks, you'll know that Twitter very much has a new competitor with Meta-owned Threads.
When Threads stealthily dropped on 6 July, much of the internet was left confused but also intrigued by the new social media app.

As a text-based extension to Instagram, Threads very much has some similarities to Twitter, as many complain about the long-running app due to changes made by Elon Musk.
Particularly, a recent update where you were limited to how many tweets you could see a day left a lot of Twitter users reeling.
It's fair to say that Twitter is not particularly happy with Mark Zuckerberg and co, to the point where they are threatening to sue as they have 'serious concerns' that Meta has 'engaged in systematic, willful and unlawful misappropriation of Twitter’s trade secrets and other intellectual property'.

Twitter's lawyer, Alex Spiro, continued: "Twitter intends to strictly enforce its intellectual property rights, and demands that Meta take immediate steps to stop using any Twitter trade secrets or other highly confidential information."
While legal action is potentially on the way, Zuckerberg is trying to make friends with Twitter execs of the past.
It is pretty hard to comprehend now, considering all the changes he has made since the mega-money buyout, but there was a time when Musk was not around the Twitter scene.
Back then, Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Twitter and former CEO called the shots, in what was a very different time for the social media giant.

Dorsey recently took to the social media app he use to run to share a screenshot that shows Zuckerberg requesting to follow him on Threads.
The picture does show two things: one, that Dorsey is not afraid to migrate to other platforms following his Twitter exit.
But secondly, it can potentially hint that Zuckerberg is trying to make former foes friends.

Nonetheless, Dorsey seems to have no intention of accepting the request, as he took to Twitter and wrote: "Too soon b."
Many flocked to the comments to share the same sentiment, while others even encouraged Dorsey to block his former rival.
Some pointed out that in time, the follow request could potentially be accepted.
Now, when is that Zuckerberg-Musk cage fight happening again?
