Chiefs fan found dead in backyard discovered in unusual position, brother says

Ricky Johnson's brother wants answers

The brother of one of the Chiefs fans who died unexpectedly has spoken out.

David Harrington, 37, Ricky Johnson, 38, and Clayton McGeeney, 36, were all found dead outside a home in Kansas City, Missouri earlier this month, two days after watching Kansas City Chiefs go head-to-head with the LA Chargers.

The property were the men were found was rented by Jordan Willis, a friend of the three football fans', but he claims to have 'no memory' of what happened after they left the house and didn't know they were in his backyard when their bodies were discovered.

The nature of their deaths remains a mystery and Ricky Johnson's brother, Jonathan Price, is understandably desperate for answers.

"As a brother, I’m looking at everything," he said during an appearance on NewsNation.

"I don’t think I’ll ever move on until, I mean, really, I’ll never move on, but especially not knowing what happened to my brother."

Price added that the family aren't able to 'truly mourn' his brother's passing without finding out the truth.

One body was discovered on the back porch by police, while the two other deceased men were in the backyard.

Willis claims to have been unaware that they were there and was only alerted of people's concerns about the three Chiefs fans when their respective partners called police as Harrington, Johnson and McGeeney never came home.

According to Price, Harrington was discovered in a lawn chair.

"I believe David was found on a lawn chair on the back porch, rather than all three laying flat, which paints a picture we didn’t have from the very beginning," Price revealed.

Since the news broke, a man has come forward to say that he was also with Willis, Harrington, Johnson and McGeeney at the house.

The man - who has not been named publicly - told Fox 4 that when he left the house, Willis and his other three friends were still awake.

It was also stressed that the man was not the last person to see Harrington, Johnson, and McGeeney alive before they were found dead.

The unnamed individual's lawyer says he arrived at the property around 7pm and stayed until midnight.

A Kansas City Police spokesperson told UNILAD: "The calling party went to [the address] to check for her fiancé, officers responded to the back porch and confirmed there was a dead body.

"Upon further investigation, officers located two other dead bodies in the back yard. There were no obvious signs of foul play observed at or near the crime scene.

"The resident at the house was cooperative with detectives the day the deceased were discovered.

"The cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner, that determination/investigation by them is underway.

"There have not been any arrests/charges, and no one is in custody. There are no specific threats or concerns for the surrounding community at this time.

"There is nothing additional to what was sent out above at this time, the next step in the investigation is to receive the findings (preliminary or final) from the medical examiner, Frontier Forensics, who is the one that determines cause of death.

"It is still the case that no foul play was observed or suspected."
