Elon Musk is at it again, letting the world know through Twi...X what some of his upcoming plans are.
Tech mogul Elon Musk took to X on Wednesday (February 28) to announce his next car project will be a collaboration between two of his companies, Tesla and Space X.
Musk, known to be a little braggadocios on social media, insisted that Tesla’s upcoming Roadster is going to blow your mind.

And in an opening cryptic post, Musk even argued whether you will even be able to call the finished Roadster product a car.
“Tonight, we radically increased the design goals for the new Tesla Roadster. There will never be another car like this, if you could even call it a car,” Musk said in his post.
“Production design complete and unveil end of year, aiming to ship next year. I think it has a shot at being the most mind-blowing product demo of all time,” he added in follow up posts.

Musk even replied to some of his fans in the comment section, keeping much of the upcoming product's mystery.
A user asked him whether the car would be aiming to be able to go from 0-60mph in about 1 second, when equipped with the fastest spec.
The eccentric billionaire insisted it would be able to go 0-60MPH in under a second and added ‘that is the least interesting part’.
A brazen fan half-jokingly even asked if it could fly a little, for Musk to only reply with some emoji eyes.
But before you get too excited, this car, which is meant to be a sequel to the Tesla Roadster from 2008, was already meant to be out.

Originally announced in 2017, production was scheduled to start in 2020, later pushed to 2022, then 2023. Musk’s now claims it will be unveiled later this year and available in 2025.
Admittedly, creating and bringing a car to market is difficult but I wouldn’t hop on the Roadster hype train just yet.
In addition to this, Musk tends to have a habit of occasionally over promising on some of his products.
The Tesla founder has previously been ridiculed after he claimed ‘Cybertruck will be waterproof enough to serve briefly as a boat, so it can cross rivers, lakes and even seas that aren’t too choppy.’

Just before the Cybertruck’s November 2023 release, fans and critics noted that no one had really been talking about using the vehicle as a boat anymore.
So, while the Roadster could be the next step in vehicle evolution, let’s just see how things develop as the year goes on.
