Stranger Things Fans Think Eddie's Finale Scene Will Go Down As Most Iconic In Show's History

That scene is forever etched in our memory

** SPOILER ALERT for Stranger Things Season 4**

We all knew Stranger Things Season 4 was going to be epic and it's safe to say that for viewers waiting on the second instalment of the season, it didn't disappoint.

In fact, fans are hailing the finale as one of the best episodes yet, with one particular scene being called 'iconic' by viewers.

In the final episode of the second part of season four, viewers watched Hawkins' Hellfire Club head into the Upside Down to take on Vecna. Yet the standout moment for fans was watching character Eddie Munson play guitar in the alternate universe, all while facing down hellish bats with his life in serious danger.

The dramatic scene combined with the 80s hit 'Master of Puppets' by Metallica has won fans over already, with some even saying it could get the same status as Kate Bush's 'Running Up That Hill' in the first part of season four.

One fan tweeted: "How powerful was this scene, where eddie sounded and dedicated master of puppets of metallica to chrissy?"

Another added: "This scene made my year, When he picked up the guitar i thought it would be great if he start playing it and they did it. Eddie playing Master of Puppets will become one of the most iconic scenes in television of this year, easily."

"The most metal performance I've ever witnessed, shredding Metallica's Master of Puppets in a literal hellscape, Eddie Munson: The Freak, The Banished, THE HERO", said another.
