Stranger Things fans are convinced Millie Bobby Brown accidentally revealed character’s fate in show finale

This could land her in a lot of hot water with Netflix

It has been two years since Stranger Things season four landed on Netflix and the eager anticipation for the fifth and final installment continues to build.

One of the biggest stars of the show, Millie Bobby Brown, was just 12 when she was catapulted to fame as Eleven in season one back in 2016.

Now 20, the actor has become one of the most well-known young stars of our generation, boasting a number of accolades for her performances.

But while Brown might be a firm favourite among fans, it appears as though the actor may have made a small slip-up while appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show yesterday (9 March).

Sitting on the famous couch, alongside the likes of Liam Gallagher, Brits winner Raye and British darts star Luke Littler, she appeared to give away a little hint regarding the fate of her character.

While discussing the fact she hadn't read the final few scripts for the finale season, she did confess she already knows what will happen to Eleven - and fans think she made a big mistake.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one fan wrote: "When Millie Bobby Brown said 'I know how she, er, I know what happens to my character' about the Stranger Things final series ending, I bet the Netflix bosses were like nooooooooo!!!!"

Another added: "Millie Bobby Brown - ‘I know how my character... like what happens to my character' on Jonathan Ross. ‘How’ means dead.”

Of course, we have no idea if that's what she actually meant and unfortunately, it'll be a while before we actually get to find out, with the final season not expected to land on Netflix until late 2025 or early 2026.

However, that didn't stop the other guests on the show from trying to force Brown into revealing what would happen in the last installment.

Earlier in the week, the actor appeared on Capital Radio, where she revealed that she found out about Eleven's fate by forcing herself into the writers' room.

"Well I haven't read the end, I know what happens to my character because I kind of forced myself into the writers' room," she confessed.

"I messaged the directors and said 'Can I come over and have a meeting with you' and then I came over and there was a whiteboard."

Brown continued: "I saw my ending and thought, 'Oh', and then I walked away very slowly."
