The Weeknd fan snatches sign from someone blocking their view at a concert

People are flooding to social media in stitches over footage of a Weeknd fan brutally snatching a sign from another concert goer.

People are flooding to social media in stitches over footage of a Weeknd fan brutally snatching a sign from another concert goer.

Hell hath no fury like a concert goer who's battled to get a standing ticket and trekked all the way to the London Stadium to see one of their favourite artists perform.

A TikToker shared footage of someone in their concert group reaching their limit of having a sign waggled in front of their face blocking their view of The Weeknd. Prepare to snort with laughter:

The video - uploaded to TikTok by @pippapalmerr - shows swarms of concert goers in the standing area of London Stadium.

However, there's an issue - a rather large sign is being swayed directly in front of some people's faces, interrupting the already fairly limited view of the action on stage.

Palmer's caption reads: "No messing when it comes to abel🙅🏼‍♀️ #fypシ #theweeknd #theweekndconcert #abeltesfaye."

Snatched perfectly in time to the beat.

As crowds chime along with The Weeknd's live performance of 'Call Out My Name,' the camera pans to the sign which is abruptly snatched by one of Palmer's mates, directly on the beat in time to the music too.

The video states: "No signs blocking our view here."

The now empty-handed sign holder turns round in bewilderment, but doesn't appear to be able to identify who removed her sign.

The footage has since amassed over 10 million views, with people flooding to the post to weigh in on sign holding etiquette at gigs.

One TikTok user said: "Where did she think he was gonna see that???"

"I feel like the only acceptable time to bring a sign is if you’re going to a Harry styles concert bc there’s a very high likelihood he’ll read it," another wrote.

A third commented: "Does she think that he was about to teleport to her?"

"And no one else looked around to see who did it. Great team work all around!" a fourth added.

And a final resolved: "The world needs more heroes."

It's not the first The Weeknd concert it's happened at - you've been warned.

And it's not the only one of The Weeknd's gigs where audience members have decided enough is enough either.

At Manchester's Etihad Stadium, another concert goer recorded a similar incident which saw someone drag down someone's sign - sick and tired of being unable to get a proper view of the 33-year-old musician.

So, be warned if you're preparing a sign to take to a concert because most social media users are in agreement: "I would've done the same."
