The parents of one of the Chiefs fans found dead in a friend's backyard have spoken out with a new theory about what happened.
Police have yet to officially release a toxicology report within their investigation into three Kansas City Chiefs fans - David Harrington, 37, Ricky Johnson, 38, and Clayton McGeeney, 36 - who were found passed away outside their friend's house last month.
However, that's not stopped Harrington's parents speaking about their suspicions.
The three City Chief's fans went over to watch their team take on the LA Chargers two days before they were discovered deceased in the backyard of a friend in Kansas City, Missouri.

The friend - Jordan Willis - has denied any knowledge his friends were lying dead in the backyard of his property and Kansas City Police Captain Jake Becchina has said the case is '100 percent not being investigated as a homicide'.
Yet the families of the three men are questioning the story they're being told.
Harrington's mom, Jennifer Marquez, said: "Nobody believes this story. None of his friends, none of the families, none of us believe it... Everybody is furious."
And Harrington's dad and step-mom have now spoken out further too.

The details of the three fans' early toxicology reports were allegedly detailed to TMZ via a source 'with direct knowledge' of the matter.

According to the source, the reports showed traces of cocaine and fentanyl in the trio's systems. However, police have yet to confirm the source's claims or release the official toxicology reports.
Despite this, Harrington's dad Jon and step-mom Theresa Harrington discussed the reports with NewsNation, with the father voicing he's not sure what to think, but believes the trio got hold of the drugs that night, rather than bringing them along pre-planned.
The dad subsequently thinks 'somebody gave them something that would kill them'.

While police have stressed they are not investigating the deaths as homicides, Theresa added: "We keep getting answers that [police] are still investigating, so, there's something there that they're saying, 'Maybe that's not right'."
The mother resolved she ultimately believes if Harrington did take the drugs himself but 'what matters is that he didn't take that to die'.
"Either it was given to him. It just means that there's more to the story, there's more to it than just that," she said. "He didn't take that to get dead. If he took the drugs on his own, he took them to get high. So I think there's more to the story."
The mom emphasised her son 'was not a drug addict' and says if he did take the drugs himself, it could've been a result of 'peer pressure'.
